One of the risks of hiring for cultural fit is an increasingly homogenous workforce. Studies show that diverse teams make better decisions, deliver a greater ROI, and are more ready to challenge and change. So it makes sense to focus more on culture add, or what someone can bring to a team, over how seamlessly they’ll blend in.

This is where Human’s intelligent software comes in. Using AI for parts of the hiring process lessens the chance of subconscious judgements, and screening decisions based on cultural fit, mood or context.

EQ meets IQ

Easy to measure, IQ has traditionally been used to make quick decisions in the early stages of the hiring process. A good indicator of mental agility and standalone intelligence, it still has a place in some forms of screening. But it’s now viewed as a poor indicator of success in the workplace.
