You asked for it, we listened, and now here it is. As of today your job candidates have two options for submitting their application. They can still ‘Apply with LinkedIn’ for speed and convenience.
But they can also choose to create a new profile from scratch with the candidate profile editor.
- The obvious one: people without a LinkedIn profile can still apply and our system helps them do it in a structured manner
- Custom applications created in this manner are still better than uploaded resumes – because they’re structured, just like a LinkedIn profile would be
- Yes, it includes the ability to upload a candidate’s photo, and on your end, applications made by the custom form look just as pretty as the LinkedIn applications you were used to.
Importing and customising the applicant’s LinkedIn profile
People who have a LinkedIn profile, would sometimes want to import it for speed but then add more details in the application to your company; some things they hadn’t included in the profile but may be relevant for the particular job
Sometimes candidates don’t have a lot of details filled in on the specifics of a past job on their LinkedIn profile, and they might want to make their submission richer or add information relevant to the particular job.
Other candidates may want to use the summary field as a space to provide ‘cover letter’ information, and articulate directly why they want this job and how they see contributing to your company.
Email verification and more
We have included some additional features in the application process such as email verification and a way for candidates to acknowledge that their application has been submitted correctly.
More improvements are coming soon. We are building integrations with candidate sources and improving the application process interface to make it as easy as possible for candidates of any kind to apply for your jobs.
